There were a few scary moments Wednesday morning after a large fire response to the Fremont Hotel in downtown Las Vegas. Around 4:55 a.m., Las Vegas Fire & Rescue received a fire call.
According to reports, the fire started in a mattress and headboard on the 10th floor.
According to Jace Radke, a spokesman for the City of Las Vegas, the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but smoking cannot be ruled out.
For more than an hour, fire trucks blocked access to Casino Center Boulevard.
The fire was put out in a matter of minutes, and no injuries were reported.
