Former Clark County Prosecutor Faces Child Luring and Attempted Statutory Sexual Seduction Charges in Henderson

LAS VEGAS – A former Clark County prosecutor, Tanner Castro, is now facing serious charges of child luring and attempted statutory sexual seduction in Henderson. According to court records, Castro was arrested on Friday by Henderson police and subsequently posted bond.

As of Monday morning, the details surrounding his arrest have not been disclosed to the public, leaving many questions unanswered. The circumstances leading to these charges are yet to be revealed.

Public records from the Nevada State Bar indicate that Castro attended law school at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas and has been a member since October 7, 2022. However, his legal career has taken a disturbing turn with these allegations.

Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson confirmed that Castro was previously employed as a deputy district attorney in his office, serving from September 2, 2023, until Monday. The revelation of these charges has undoubtedly shocked the legal community and raised concerns about the integrity of the justice system.

According to Henderson court records, Castro is scheduled to appear in court again on November 7.
