HENDERSON, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Victors Cardenas and Joey Cardona of Henderson will offer their house to the public for the third year in a row to host a candy cane-themed walk-through event to support a local charity.

According to a news release, the community is welcome to visit the couple’s “Candy Cane House.” They do, however, “highly urge” donations to Hope Link of Southern Nevada and its objective to “avoid homelessness, maintain families, and promote hope.”

The Candy Cane House, according to the couple, has over 50 decorated Christmas trees, 38,000 lights throughout the property, complimentary food and hot chocolate, and countless picture opportunities.

The Candy Cane House tradition began three years ago, when Cardona was stricken with cancer, according to the couple. Cardenas expressed his desire for his husband to enjoy the greatest Christmas possible after learning he didn’t have much time left. “Now three years later, Cardona is still here, and the Candy Cane House has only increased each year,” the announcement stated.

“We are overwhelmed that Victor and Joey love HopeLink and have continued to use this opportunity to help us out. For the third year, they are encouraging people who come to tour the house to bring household item donations, gift cards and even cash that we can use to support families and seniors in Henderson who may be struggling financially with bills, rent or housing in general,” said Stacey Lockhart, chief executive officer at Hope Link of Southern Nevada.

The address is 366 S. The Candy Cane House on Milan Street in Henderson will be accessible to the public for the next three weeks.

The dates and times, according to the couple, are as follows:
