High-Speed Chase Ends in Arrest Following Murder of Ex-Senator’s Son in North Las Vegas
By TheNevadaGlobeStaff, March 29, 2025 12:31 pm
23-year-old Na’Onche Osborne, son of former Nevada State Senator Pat Spearman, was fatally shot at Aliante Casino in North Las Vegas on March 27, 2025. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting around 4:30 a.m., discovering Osborne deceased at the scene.
The suspect, 19-year-old Aerion Warmsley, allegedly fled the scene, leading police on a high-speed chase across the Las Vegas Valley. During this pursuit, Warmsley is accused of committing three carjackings before being apprehended by law enforcement.
Osborne’s history includes a 2022 arrest for shooting his cousin at Spearman’s residence. At that time, Senator Spearman, a Democrat and mayoral candidate for North Las Vegas, acknowledged the challenges in raising Osborne, whom she adopted as a teenager to provide a better life.
This incident underscores the critical importance of personal responsibility and the rule of law in maintaining public safety. It prompts us to reflect on the societal factors contributing to such violent events and the measures necessary to prevent them.
