Porfirio Duarte-Herrera Recaptured in North Las Vegas Without Incident

LAS VEGAS – Wednesday night in North Las Vegas, the escaped inmate Porfirio Duarte-Herrera was apprehended without incident.

After receiving a complaint of a suspicious person matching Duarte-description Herrera’s between Eastern Avenue and Owens Boulevard, LVMPD officers responded to the 1400 block of North Eastern Avenue.

The man’s identity was verified, and the police took him into custody.
