Husband and Wife Die in Apparent Murder-Suicide in Las Vegas South Valley

Las Vegas — On Thursday night in the city’s south valley, a husband and woman died in an apparent murder-suicide. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating.
LVMPD Dispatch received a worrisome report about an unresponsive individual in a garage on the 300 block of E. Starr Avenue at 7:57 p.m. Responding cops found a male and female with apparent gunshot wounds. Tragically, the arriving medical staff declared both victims dead.
LVMPD Homicide detectives found a heartbreaking story. A married couple who had fought died. The male participant committed a surprising act of violence as the conflict intensified. After shooting his wife, he killed himself, ending their argument.
Authorities are withholding the victims’ identities and the cause and manner of their terrible deaths. After completion, the Clark County Coroner’s office will reveal these details.
