A fire that broke out in a Las Vegas garage on Sunday morning resulted in the tragic loss of six cats and caused an estimated $100,000 worth of damage, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to reports of a vehicle on fire inside the garage of a three-story single-family home located at 5928 Aurora Gold Avenue. While the house itself was filled with smoke, there was no active fire within the structure, and no human injuries were reported.
