
Las Vegas Mother Arrested for Alleged School Stabbing During Road Rage Incident

LAS VEGAS – Tensions escalated unexpectedly on the first day of school as a Las Vegas mother, Akira Mays, found herself in a road rage altercation that led to a stabbing outside Steele Elementary School.
According to authorities, Mays, 30, allegedly stabbed another parent during a heated argument that ensued after a traffic dispute.
The victim, a man, suffered a stab wound to the upper left abdomen and was rushed to UMC Trauma for surgery.
Mays was taken into custody after admitting to the stabbing and has been released without bond under specific conditions.
