Las Vegas Police Chase Ends in Freeway Crash. Driver Suspected of Impairment

A police pursuit involving a driver suspected of impairment ended in a crash on a Las Vegas freeway early Wednesday morning. According to Metro Police, officers attempted to stop the vehicle near Sahara Avenue and Eastern Avenue around 3 a.m. When officers approached, the driver fled and entered Interstate 11.
Police said the pursuit continued on the freeway until the vehicle eventually crashed. Details about any injuries, the driver’s identity, or additional circumstances surrounding the crash have not yet been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
