LVMPD Explains How It Linked Elected Official to Reporter’s Death

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department showed a video of Clark County Public Administrator Robert Telles at a news conference Wednesday. They alleged a fight was filmed. Friday at 11:18, police said.
Police said they saw Telles’ maroon SUV drive from his home to the killing scene and back.
Photos of Telles’ shoes and straw hat were also shown. Police say both were cut up to destroy evidence. The shoe had blood, police said.
Wednesday morning, police searched the suspect’s home. Telles was arrested hours after police received DNA.
Robert Telles’ DNA was found at the crime scene, Koren said.
Koren said the murder weapon hadn’t been found.
Police stated they began investigating German’s stories following his death.
