LVMPD Investigating Fatal Stabbing Incident in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) is currently investigating a stabbing incident that resulted in the death of one person, according to police officials.

On Wednesday, April 5th, at approximately 8:58 a.m., LVMPD received reports of a stabbing at the intersection of Katie Avenue and Maryland Parkway. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found one person who had sustained serious injuries from a stabbing and was pronounced dead shortly after.

LVMPD’s Homicide division has taken over the investigation and is working to gather more information about the incident. The identity of the victim has not been released yet.

This is an ongoing investigation, and LVMPD urges anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact the department.
