LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says they arrested a man after he made verbal threats to Creech Air Force Base personnel.
The person was taken into jail without incident Tuesday night, according to Las Vegas police. However, “many suspicious objects” were discovered when police searched the subject’s vehicle.
Nevada State Police and Las Vegas police officers formed a perimeter around the vehicle, causing delays on the 95 southbound and northbound near mile marker 122.
Following the road restrictions, Las Vegas police have begun opening lanes for nearby vehicles.
