Man Sentenced For Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography
LAS VEGAS – According to a news release, a Las Vegas man was sentenced to 84 months in prison and a lifetime of supervised release for possessing and attempting to obtain child pornography.
Jonathan Risse-Santos, 30, pled guilty to attempted receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography in February.
Risse-Santos used an instant messaging service to contact what he thought was a 14-year-old girl in March 2021. According to the announcement, he constantly asked the girl to share naked photographs of herself and talked about sexual behavior with her.
He agreed to meet the youngster at her house and was arrested there.
When police checked his phone, they discovered 259 photographs and six films of child sexual abuse.
Risse-Santos must now register as a sexual offender.
