
Man Was Killed After Being Hit by a Car in Decatur Charleston

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Authorities have reported that a guy from Las Vegas passed away as a result of wounds he received after he was hit by a car on Thursday night.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a statement Friday morning that a man, 79, was hit by an automobile at the junction of South Decatur Boulevard and West Charleston Boulevard about 6 p.m.
According to evidence and witnesses at the scene, the car involved was turning east on Charleston Boulevard when a pedestrian in a motorized wheelchair entered the crossing.
A collision happened when the pedestrian entered the vehicle’s path of travel.
The victim was transferred to University Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries.
It marks the 146th traffic-related fatality under LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2022. The issue continues under investigation.
