LAS VEGAS – A man wanted for his involvement with a fatal stabbing was apprehended in Las Vegas on Monday, authorities said.
On Saturday, police in Texas detained 41-year-old Guillermo Carillo on suspicion of murder.
After a disagreement about property on October 2 at 10:15 p.m., Carrillo is suspected of stabbing 44-year-old Eric Enriquez to death. After being reported missing, Enriquez was discovered in the 1800 block of Pacific Street with several stab wounds.
Later that evening, he was pronounced dead at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
The police did not immediately elaborate on how Carillo was connected to the investigation.
On Tuesday, he is scheduled to go to court while being jailed without bail.
