Near Lake Mead and Las Vegas Boulevard Woman Was Killed After Being Hit by Car

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Police in North Las Vegas are looking into a fatal collision that occurred just after 3:50 pm near the Silver Nugget. afternoon on Wednesday.
According to police, a car moving southbound struck a senior citizen who was in the crosswalk in the 2100 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North. The woman is thought to be in her 70s.
When medical personnel came, the woman was already dead. The collision’s offending car came to a stop and stayed still. Police have not concluded if speed or intoxication had a part in the collision.
According to police, Las Vegas Boulevard North is closed in both directions between Hamilton and Bruce. Streets nearby are being used as a detour for traffic.
We advise you to stay away from the area and use alternate routes.
