Nellis Afb Staff Sergeant Accused of Possessing Child Pornography

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – After being detained on January 5, officials charged a staff sergeant assigned to Nellis Air Force Base with possessing child pornography.
As of Wednesday, Sgt. Daniel Jessee, 35, was being detained at the Clark County Detention Center on a bond of $80,000 after being charged with 24 charges of possession.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, on January 5 police were sent to Nellis Air Force Base in response to a military personnel being held on a warrant.
According to an arrest record, Jessee was in custody when police learned about his warrant out of North Las Vegas from a special agent with the Air Force.
In January, Jessee reportedly uploaded 22 files, according to the police.
of data including child sexual assault, according to the Office of Special Investigations of the Air Force.
Jesse’s residence at the Air Force Base was connected to the IP address. The arrest report stated that during an interview, Jessee claimed to have seen and shared with others over 1,000 photos and videos online while stationed in Japan four years earlier.
The 22nd of March is the date of his upcoming court appearance.
