Nevada Highway Patrol Investigates Injury Crash Involving Semi on I-15

Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle rollover involving a semi truck late Saturday morning on southbound Interstate 15 near Jean. Authorities said the crash occurred around 10:58 a.m. near mile marker 10 and involved a white Freightliner tractor-trailer that rolled into the center median and struck a concrete barrier.

As a result of the crash, the two leftmost southbound lanes were closed while crews worked the scene. One southbound lane remained open to traffic. The driver sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of the injuries was not immediately released.

Nevada Highway Patrol advised motorists traveling through the area to expect delays while the investigation and roadway cleanup continued. No additional vehicles were reported to be involved, and the cause of the rollover remains under investigation.
