LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has released additional video of a “vehicle of interest” in a deadly road rage shooting last year that remains unsolved.
According to authorities, the footage shows the car visiting an ARCO gas station at Sahara Avenue and Valley View Boulevard about 20 minutes before the shooting on Oct. 18, 2021.
The vehicle is described as a dark-colored, recent model Chevrolet Malibu with a huge placard on the back passenger door window.
The gunfire was reported on the 215 Beltway near the airport connection at roughly 2:21 a.m., according to LVMPD. on Oct. 18. Officers discovered a driver who was lifeless and had been shot. He was declared dead at the site.
Glen Card, 27, was recognized by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
A female passenger in the car was also shot numerous times and was transferred to UMC for treatment.
According to police, Card and the passenger were shot after getting into an argument with another car on the freeway.
In a video released last year, Lt. Dave Valenta stated that Card seemed to be traveling south on I-15 before merging into eastbound 215. The two automobiles may have been swerving and cutting each other off, according to investigators.
Card’s automobile seemed to go a few hundred feet before crashing shortly before reaching the Airport Connector.
Anyone with information is asked to contact LVMPD’s murder department at (702) 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 to remain anonymous.
