One Killed in Morning Collision in South Las Vegas, No Impairment Suspected

A two-vehicle crash Monday morning at East Starr Avenue and South Las Vegas Boulevard left one person dead, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said. The collision happened at about 8:03 a.m., and the victim was transported to a local hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased. Authorities say impairment is not suspected at this time. Several road closures are in effect in the area as police investigate.
