Police of Mohave County Looking Into Desert Found Human Remains

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible homicide after human remains were discovered in the desert on Sunday.
According to MCSO, the remains were located about 11:36 a.m. Dec. 4 at Yucca, along the Alamo and Boriana Mine roads.
According to authorities, a guy was riding his side-by-side vehicle in the desert when he discovered the remains and alerted police. When police came, they discovered a massive mound of rubbish with the remains wrapped in a tarp amid it.
Police believe the bones are those of an adult male, but no identification has been established. The Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to identify the cause of death and, perhaps, the identification of the deceased.
