
Search Continues for Missing Man Swept Away in Henderson Floodwaters

Henderson, NV — The search for a man swept away by floodwaters during a swift-water rescue operation in Henderson continues, with authorities deploying extensive resources to locate him.
On Tuesday, May 6, the Henderson Fire Department responded to reports of a person in distress near Aloha Drive and Pueblo Boulevard amid record-breaking rainfall in Southern Nevada. Responders briefly spotted the man in the water, but he was quickly submerged again and has not been seen since.
The Henderson Police Department has since taken over the operation, utilizing drones, K9 units, off-road vehicles, and aerial support to search the wash area and surrounding trails. Despite these efforts, the man remains missing.
