Southwest Valley Domestic Dispute Escalates to Fatal Shooting on Jade Mountain Court

LAS VEGAS, NV — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives are continuing to process evidence in the southwest valley following a tragic weekend domestic dispute that left one man dead inside an Enterprise residential property.

The lethal incident unfolded at approximately 5:00 AM on Sunday, May 31, 2026, when a frantic woman dialed 911 from a residential property located in the 6400 block of Jade Mountain Court, near the intersection of Windmill Lane and South Jones Boulevard.

The caller reported to emergency dispatchers that an intense verbal and physical domestic altercation had broken out inside the family residence. According to initial law enforcement briefings, the caller stated that her brother had drawn a firearm and shot her boyfriend inside the home to stop an active physical assault.

Active Homicide Investigation

Responding Metro patrol units immediately swarmed the suburban neighborhood and secured the residence. Inside the property, officers discovered an adult male victim suffering from a critical gunshot wound. Medical personnel initiated emergency trauma measures, but the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The woman’s brother identified himself to arriving officers as the shooter and was immediately taken into custody by patrol units without further incident.
