Suspect in Custody After Road-Rage Incident Shuts Down 215 Beltway in Henderson

Authorities confirmed that a suspect is now in custody following a road-rage incident on westbound lanes of the 215 Southern Beltway in Henderson Friday morning. The incident occurred just before 8 a.m. near Gibson Road. As a precaution, all westbound lanes of the beltway and the Interstate 11 ramp to 215 westbound were closed for investigation.
The Henderson Police Department worked alongside transportation officials to reroute traffic and manage the area while detecting conditions stabilized. Officials stated there was no ongoing threat to the public and thanked motorists for their patience.
Investigators continue to examine the sequence of events leading up to the incident and encourage anyone with information to contact the police.
