Nevada State Senator Edgar Flores, 39, is facing a DUI case after recently released test results showed his blood alcohol content was above the state’s legal limit. Flores was arrested earlier this month when police found him stopped at an intersection in Las Vegas.
Documents indicate officers observed signs of impairment, and later testing confirmed the higher-than-allowed level. Flores has acknowledged he was fatigued and admitted he should not have been driving, but maintains that he was not impaired.
The case remains under review while prosecutors await complete toxicology results. Flores, who was elected to the Senate in 2022, is not due in court until January.
