Las Vegas, NV – Two women are facing charges after allegedly stealing over $100,000 worth of luxury watches from a man at the Encore resort on the Las Vegas Strip.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the victim met the two women, identified as Bailey Carr and Nikaila McMasters, at the Lobby Bar inside the Encore resort on October 11th. The women suggested that the victim and a companion join them in a hotel room.
While the victim was asleep in the bedroom with McMasters, the other man remained in the living room with Carr. Upon waking up, the victim discovered that three of his six watches were missing: an Audemars Piguet watch valued at $80,000, a Rolex Presidential watch valued at $25,000, and a Rolex Submariner “Starbucks” watch valued at $15,000.
The victim also reported that he noticed a Zelle transaction of $1,200 to “Nikaila” but could not recall authorizing it.
The second man involved in the incident told police that Carr had asked him for money in exchange for sexual acts, which he refused. He later discovered that the victim’s wallet was missing and believed McMasters had taken it.
Surveillance footage obtained by police confirmed the identities of the two women, who were seen arriving at the resort in vehicles registered in their names.
Both Carr and McMasters are facing charges of grand larceny exceeding $100,000. Additionally, McMasters is facing a theft charge related to the unauthorized Zelle transaction.
