Utah-Based America First Credit Union Acquires Nevada's Meadows Bank

LAS VEGAS, NV — In a major consolidation shift across Southern Nevada’s financial sector, Las Vegas-based Meadows Bank has been officially acquired by Riverdale, Utah-based America First Federal Credit Union.

The combined institution now forms a regional banking network with over $26 billion in assets serving 1.5 million members across six western states.

A Community Staple Expands Its Reach

Founded in Las Vegas in 2008, Meadows Bank built a strong reputation as a full-service community bank, growing to six brick-and-mortar branches across Nevada and Arizona—including locations in Las Vegas, Henderson, Pahrump, Reno, and Phoenix.

Under the finalized transaction, the former bank locations will operate as Meadows Financial, a dedicated division of America First Federal Credit Union.

Seamless Transition for Account Holders

Credit union leadership confirmed that all Meadows Bank employees have been retained, ensuring operational continuity for existing clients.

Meadows account holders will maintain their existing account numbers, checks, and debit or credit cards while automatically qualifying for America First membership. The partnership grants former Meadows customers access to America First’s network of 122 branches and expanded commercial lending tools.
