Woman Dies After Being Struck in North Las Vegas. Driver Returns and Faces Charges

North Las Vegas police are investigating a crash that left a woman dead Wednesday evening. The incident was reported around 6 p.m. near Griswold Street. According to police, the woman was attempting to cross Las Vegas Boulevard west of Pecos Road when she was struck by a vehicle.
Officers said the driver initially left the area but later returned to the scene. The driver now faces charges related to the crash. Additional details about the victim and the circumstances leading up to the collision have not yet been released.
The North Las Vegas Police Department continues to review the evidence as the investigation moves forward.
