Worker Killed in Accident at Bellagio Fountains Identified

LAS VEGAS – The Clark County Coroner’s office has identified the worker killed in an accident at the Bellagio Fountains on Saturday as 37-year-old Tizoc Antonio. His official cause of death is listed as an “incised wound” of the neck, and his death has been ruled as accidental.
Antonio was a member of Iron Workers Local 433 and had been working on preparations for the upcoming Formula One races, according to a union manager. Further details on the nature of the accident have not been disclosed, and the union manager declined to comment further, citing the ongoing investigation.
The Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the accident.
