A Man Was Detained and Charged With Open Murder Following a Homicide Probe in Reno
NEVADA – After conducting a homicide investigation this morning, police in Reno claim they have arrested a local man and charged him with first-degree murder.
On Sunday, November 20th, at around 5:15 p.m., police were called to the 8000 block of Offenhauser Dr. in reference to a female victim.
Upon arriving at Renown Medical Center, the victim was pronounced dead from her gunshot wound.
In order to investigate the murder, detectives from the Robbery/Homicide Unit were dispatched.
The suspect, according to the Reno Police Department, was spotted in the 1600 block of Iron Mountain Dr, hopped a fence, and was eventually apprehended in the 10000 block of Coyote Creek Dr.
On suspicion of Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon, police in Reno, Nevada, detained 27-year-old Fabian Zeragoza-Martinez.
Until the victim’s loved ones have been contacted, we cannot reveal his or her identity.
