After No Winner the Mega Millions Jackpot Increased to $940 Million

RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – There will be another chance for lottery players to win a reward of close to $1 billion in the Mega Millions drawing on Friday night if their numbers didn’t come up or if they just forgot to buy a ticket.
Since it began to rise more than two months ago, the projected $940 million prize has risen to sixth place in American history.
The odds of winning stay the same at one in 302.6 million, despite the reward increasing.
The $940 million jackpot is available to those who select an annuity that will be paid out over a 29-year period. Cash is typically what winners seek, and for the drawing on Friday night, it would be around $483.5 million.
The next drawing will take place Tuesday night if there is no winner.
Along with Washington, D.C., and the United States, Mega Millions is played in 45 other states. Caribbean islands. Tickets are available at Hallelujah Junction, Gold Ranch, Truckee, Markleeville, and Truckee.
