RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) stated Tuesday evening that a man had been detained for allegedly engaging in indecent behavior with a kid.

According to DCSO, a search warrant was issued on Thursday, December 15, for the house of 35-year-old Zachary Nance at the 400 block of McFaul Way in Round Hill, Nevada. Nance is being investigated for allegedly engaging in a sexual behavior with a kid under the age of 14, and a search warrant turned up material pertinent to the offense inside his house.

Additional evidence uncovered during the investigation indicated that Nance intended to contact numerous other minor youngsters in Stateline, Nevada and South Lake Tahoe, California. DCSO stated that they are collaborating with the South Lake Tahoe Police Department and the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office to thoroughly examine the information discovered.

“The law enforcement agencies investigating this matter are working diligently to determine what if any other crimes have been committed,” said DCSO.

Nance was taken into custody and placed into the DCSO’s Lake Tahoe Jail. He is being held in jail on a bond of $500,000 or $100,000 cash.
