RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – It’s time to start writing letters to Santa Claus. The USPS’s Operation Santa can provide some holiday cheer this season.
Christmas wishlists are currently being accepted by Operation Santa. This is also an opportunity to work as one of Santa’s elves.
If you write a letter, include your first and last name, age, and tell Santa about your year.
Make sure to include your complete name and return address in the letter. The address for the letter should be 123 Elf Road, North Pole 88888.
Letters to Mr. Claus should be presented by the 12th, but they will be received until the 19th.
USPS Supervisor of Customer Service Support Robert Hamm highlighted what should be included in the Christmas letter,
“If you’re going to be asking for toys or books or anything like that you want to make sure you have the right title or name. If you are asking for shoes or clothes you want to make sure you are going to write the right size, and of course, you’re going to want to write your favorite color,” Hamm said.
The Operation Santa initiative also includes the adoption of a letter. There may be letters in Santa’s mailroom that he will be unable to respond to. You may help by adopting a letter and fulfilling a child’s request.
