RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – Former rescue dog Peanut has raised $20,800 and obtained her therapy dog certification since she was adopted three years ago. As an Instagram influencer who promotes homeless animals in need and the animal shelters striving to place them in loving homes, Peanut has also gained widespread recognition online.
Peanut and his animal-loving mother Kristen Saibini have the ideal platform to spread awareness and generate critical cash for homeless animals in need thanks to Peanut’s rescue tale and distinctive appearance (he goes by Baby Yoda and is sometimes mistaken for a rabbit).
Peanut promotes adoptable creatures from shelters and rescue organizations in need of volunteers and financial support on his Instagram page, where he has amassed over 61,000 devoted followers.
As a therapy dog, Peanut frequently visits emergency personnel, patients, and hospital employees to show some affection and reduce tension. It’s just one more significant way Peanut and his family help people in need while promoting adoption, fostering, and financial support for animal shelters and rescue organizations.
This January 25th, 2023, Peanut wants to promote Scoot to the Stars, the newest rescue organization in Northern Nevada, using his platform as Reno’s Mayor for a Day! A 501(c)(3) charity organization called Scoot to the Stars is committed to saving, rehabilitating, and providing care for animals with special needs.
Scooter was taken from a local shelter after being crippled due to a suspected abuse case by Marie Syrovy, the creator of Scoot to the Stars Rescue. Marie acquired a love for assisting dogs with mobility challenges after coming across a great community of special needs pets and their families.
