Man Arrested in Connection With Hit-&-Run Crash in Sparks

RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – A guy has been detained by Sparks Police after they claim he fled the scene of a hit-and-run accident following a traffic stop.

Shaun Garlick, 35, allegedly sped away from a traffic stop before hitting a parked vehicle.

According to police, he was apprehended and subsequently lodged in the Washoe County Jail on Wednesday under a $11,000 bail.

Police said in a Facebook post, “We are pleased of our patrol officers who tried to locate Garlick and keep our town safer. As we have mentioned previously, individuals who evade cops imperil our community and we take instances like this very seriously.
