Man Wanted For Murder Arrested In Reno After Hours-Long Standoff With Police

NEVADA – Hector Arreola, 35, was arrested in Reno late Thursday night after an hours-long standoff with police at a local motel.
Arreola was wanted out of the Fresno area for a murder that happened in July 2022.
Police in California just recently named Arreola the suspect in the death of 41-year-old Dominique Bustamante.
After four hours of negotiations, police were able to convince Arreola to come out of the room and surrender peacefully.
The 35-year-old was booked into the Washoe County jail on criminal contempt and a fugitive wanted from another state charges.
There was also a warrant out for Arreola for the murder out of California.
