NV Energy Restores Power After Outage
NEVADA – In the late morning hours of Wednesday, there was a temporary power outage that affected up to 3,000 consumers in Washoe County.
The 89521 zip code, which is located in the general vicinity of south Reno, was the area that was most severely affected by the power outage.
The Summit mall, which is located near Mt. Rose, as well as CVS and Walmart, which are located in the neighborhood of Damonte Ranch Parkway, did not have electricity.
Investigations are still being conducted to determine what caused the most major disruption.
