Power Has Been Restored in Sparks Following a Crash That Caused an Outage

More than 5,800 customers in Sparks were without power when the outage began just after 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, in the zip code 89431, according to NV Energy.

As of 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, there were 1,567 consumers are  without electricity

Power has already been restored in the Sparks area.

According to NV Energy, the interruption was caused by a traffic incident in the vicinity.
