Reno Hiking & Trails Convention Jeff Martinez Receives an Honor

RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – A large hiking conference is in town, and our very own Jeff Martinez was honored with an award for his reporting on our local hiking routes.

This week’s Nevada Transportation, Trails, and Tourism Summit was held at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Reno.

It’s all about spreading the word about all of the fantastic hiking routes here in our own backyard.

There were guest speakers and hiking specialists on hand, as well as future planning and trail construction seminars.

Our Jeff Martinez is an ardent hiker and drone pilot who won the media award for all of the attention he’s received for his climbs throughout the region.
