RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – The dispatch phones at the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) are down on Monday morning. The interruption occurs just a week after a 24-hour LCSO dispatch phone outage.
Around 5:45 a.m., the LCSO reported the second outage. on Nov. 21.
All 911 calls will be sent to Carson City. Because Carson City dispatch is unfamiliar with Lyon County, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office requests that callers be patient and as descriptive as possible.
All non-emergency calls must be addressed when the phone lines have been restored, or an online report can be filed here.
