SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe)- Since the first snowfall of the season, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department has seen an uptick in the amount of snowblower thefts.
The agency asked people to secure their snowblowers when not in use in a Facebook post. They advise people to keep them inside whenever feasible, but to keep them tied and chained to your home if they must be kept outside.
You should also write down the serial number, manufacturer, and model of your snowblower in case it is stolen.
