Sparks Homes in 9th Street Burn in a Fire

A fire that damaged a Sparks house and spread to another is being investigated. It happened shortly before midnight on Wednesday at a house around 9th and D streets. When firemen arrived, the house was engulfed in flames, and the fire was spreading to another house.

Crews were able to put out the fire within minutes, but it took them all night to completely extinguish it.

As firefighters tried to clean the site, 9th Street was closed between D and E streets.

Five persons inside the houses escaped unharmed. There were no reported injuries.
