
Suspect Arrested After Climbing Through Teenage Girl’s Bedroom Window As She Slept

NEVADA – The Sparks Police Department arrested a man on home invasion and burglary charges after allegedly climbing through a teenage girl’s bedroom window while she slept.
Sparks Police officers responded to the 600 block of E Street at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday for complaints of a residential burglary.
When police arrived, a 15-year-old girl told them that a Hispanic male forced open and crawled through her bedroom window. She exited the house and notified a neighbor who confronted the suspect and fled the scene.
A man who matched the suspect’s description was apprehended and identified by the girl as Ramon Romero Martinez, 43.
Romero-Martinez was arrested and taken to the Washoe County Jail.
