WASHOE COUNTY, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – Saturday night, the Education Alliance of Washoe County held a fundraiser for the Washoe County School District dubbed “Caring for Classrooms” at the Eldorado Convention Center.
According to the Education Alliance, ‘Caring for Classrooms’ holistically meets the needs of all 100+ WCSD Schools, reaching 62,000 students and 4,200 teachers.
Unfunded priorities include student involvement, teacher/staff recognition and retention, educational trips, technology, and student health and wellbeing.
Investing in these areas enhances our schools and develops kids who will become leaders ready to begin their careers here, resulting in a better Northern Nevada.
