RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – Through the rest of the month, the Sparks Police Department will conduct additional patrols to hunt for distracted drivers.
In order to reduce a behavior that killed 3,142 people in 2020, Sparks PD and other law enforcement agencies will participate in the Joining Forces initiative beginning on Friday and continuing through January 31.
The Office of Traffic Safety’s Joining Forces program, which is financed, provides funding for those additional patrols.
