UPDATE: Audio File and Tracking Show Difficulty in Navigating Taxiway Before Care Flight Plane Crashed in Sierra, Killing Five Passengers

NEVADA – FSX Aviation uploaded an audio file of the air traffic surrounding the Care Flight plane crash, which suggests difficulty in navigating the taxiway due to a severe snowstorm.

Air Traffic Control also reported turbulent weather. The plane began losing altitude and took a sharp northwest turn before disappearing from radar.

The plane was later found a short distance away from where it disappeared. Multiple attempts to contact the plane were unresponsive.

Another person reported severe weather moving through the area prior to the crash. A press conference is scheduled for Sunday.

Five passengers, including a patient and their family member, were killed in the crash, and the cause remains unknown.
