Veterans Day the RTC of Washoe County Will Provide Free Rides

WASHOE COUNTY, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) –On Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) will celebrate veterans with free rides on all RTC transportation services.

According to RTC officials, providing free transportation services on Veterans Day is the RTC’s way of thanking and commemorating those who have fought and sacrificed for our freedom.

On Veterans Day, RTC transportation will run on a Sunday schedule. The RTC Regional Connector to Carson City will be decommissioned. Visit here to arrange your vacation.

In addition, RTC administrative offices will be closed on Veterans Day, November 11th.
