Washoe County Sheriff’s Office: Woman Caught On Video During Residential Burglary

NEVADA – The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) requests the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a residential burglary in Washoe Valley.
According to WCSO, an unidentified woman approached a residence in the area of Lighting West Ranch Road on the evening of February 6, 2023, knocked on the door, and departed when no one responded.
The suspect returned to take the front entrance camera later that evening. According to deputies, the homeowners verified that their home had been burglarized and claimed major property loss.
The camera footage showed a probable white/silver Toyota Prius in the background, which investigators believe is associated with the perpetrator.
