LAS VEGAS, NV — Dozens of Southern Nevada industrial workers will lose their jobs next month following a formal state regulatory filing confirming the permanent shutdown of a long-running snack food production facility in the northeast Las Vegas valley.

The closure marks the end of a decade of local manufacturing operations for the prominent national food company.

WARN Notice Confirms August Plant Shutdown

According to official Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act documentation filed with the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR), New Jersey-based manufacturer Our Home will permanently cease all operations at its facility located at 4780 N. Lamb Blvd.

The shutdown will result in the immediate layoff of 61 full-time employees, with job terminations scheduled to take effect on August 25, 2026. State filings confirm that the plant’s workforce is not represented by a labor union, and no employee bumping rights exist to transfer affected staff to other regional corporate sites.

Corporate Shifts and Industrial Consolidation

The 4780 N. Lamb Blvd. facility originally opened over a decade ago under organic corn chip and cracker manufacturer RW Garcia. The brand was acquired by Utz Brands in 2021 for $56 million, before being sold again in early 2024 to Our Home—a fast-growing national snack platform whose portfolio also includes Popchips and Pop Secret.

While corporate representatives for Our Home did not publicly detail the specific financial drivers behind the Nevada exit, regional industrial analysts point to ongoing national supply chain consolidations and shifting West Coast distribution logistics. State workforce response teams are stepping in to assist the 61 displaced workers with job placement services, unemployment benefits, and career transition resources ahead of the late-August closure deadline.
