One Hospitalized Following RV Structure Fire in Northeast Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NV — One person was transported to University Medical Center Saturday morning after a converted residential recreational vehicle caught fire in a northeast valley neighborhood.

Firefighters successfully halted flames before the fire could engulf an adjacent single-family home.

Rapid Attack Near Nellis and Lake Mead

According to Clark County Fire Department incident reports, dispatchers received emergency calls around 10:10 AM on Saturday, August 1 reporting an RV fire along the 2100 block of Linn Lane, near North Nellis Boulevard and East Lake Mead Boulevard.

First arriving engine crews encountered heavy smoke and flame emanating from the converted vehicle, which was positioned close to a neighboring residential structure.

Occupant Transported to UMC

Firefighters initiated a primary search while pulling hose lines to protect the neighboring residence.

The sole occupant of the RV was located by emergency crews and transported to University Medical Center for treatment of fire-related injuries. The cause of the fire remains under active investigation by county fire investigators.
